The day of a psychic sometimes begins with a phone call from an emotional client seeking answers to her problems.
A psychic never uses an alarm clock because her phone rings constantly and some psychics make themselves available at all hours of the night in the event that there is a crisis in the lives of one of their clients.
What I usually do is start the day with coffee and walk the dogs and then say the “3 Ps”: a Psychic Protection Prayer to protect me from absorbing too much energy. I know that I will be talking to many people throughout the day and I will be dealing with many variations of emotion and energy that can zap me and energy that can bring me down. These energies have to deal with the great emotional impact that situations can cause people to experience when they are suffering.
I may get a caller that is angry at the world and she needs to vent. I do let people vent and then I talk them through their emotions until we discover the core issue.
Many issues are heartbreaking and difficult at times to hear. When it comes to communication, we all know that it is easier to talk then it is to listen. A Psychic’s job involves active listening and that task is never easy because some clients have difficulty expressing their thoughts and many times, I have had to literally pull the words out of their thoughts. As a psychic, I have experienced a client’s strong emotions such as rage, jealousy and impatience.
Many clients want things to turn around immediately and that is not always the case. I took a life coach course to understand the dynamics of relationships so I can pass that knowledge and understand to those who walk in the dark and cannot comprehend why they or their loved ones respond the way they do to one another. Relationships have an ebb and a flow that literally make up this flow of energy which is the life force between them. Interpreting this life force is very difficult for people and that is something that I admit is my strength. Instinctively, I connect to those who chat with me and I know exactly what to tell him in terms of advice, consolation and I can teach how to practice self-care so that they have the strength to continue with life with hope.
I feel and hear their despair and I focus on getting them through today because today is all we have at the moment. I encourage them to come see me tomorrow so I can help them get through the second day. My philosophy as a psychic is that we have to fix the issue, one day at a time because I can show them the future yet we need to be proactive to get there and I teach them with inspiration, with my own faith and my own courage how to do it. I often find myself rekindling their faith with my own. That is because I could not be a psychic if I didn’t have perfect faith. I believe in my gifts and my gift is what I made a full time job so my life could have a meaning and purpose that gives me joy.
